Goblin Week is over.

This was a RESOUNDING SUCCESS. Some hundreds of people drew goblins of all sorts; you can see a bunch of them by tumblr or twitter tag

Next year’s Goblin Week by my reckoning will be January 19 through 25.

THE MORAL OF GOBLIN WEEK IS THIS. It is just a thing I made up as an excuse to draw some fun stuff. You can draw goblins or whatever you want at any time. You can show everybody what you are drawing on the internet. It is great and goblin week can be every week if you want it to be. Long live goblin week.

Talky Goblin. This is early because Goblin Week has no rules, I have decided.

This goblin is a goblin politician. Goblins live in a hugely complex system of overlapping representative democracies that evolved out of an earlier theocratic tribal network. They have developed elaborate and ritualized systems of rhetoric and political discourse that shift constantly and subtly, but they still attack other species constantly and steal basically everything they have from them.
