Finished the inks for my screenprinted poster! Now I have to figure out how to scan something so huge, and color color color. I’ve been working on another huge drawing at the same time! Fun/stressful.

This is the cover art for my NEW BENIGN KINGDOM ART BOOK. We just launched the Kickstarter for the first Benign Kingdom publication in a few years: a set of 32-page art books by Meredith Gran, Dustin Harbin, Becky Dreistadt, and myself. (Becky and I did Benign Kingdom art books back in 2012, too)

Celebratory dogs I have drawn, as the Benign Kingdom 2016 Kickstarter enters its final hours.
We’ve had a kind of dog-mascot thing going ever since we (me, Becky Dreistadt, Frank Gibson, KC Green, Ananth Hirsh, Yuko Ota, and George Rohac) started this project in 2012! Really great to return to Benign Kingdom after a couple of years and make some cool new books happen.

A sense of continuity between the images! I’m still doing the same sort of work, but hopefully smarter and better and I’m in a different place than I was in 2012. Benign Kingdom was itself is in a very new place, and we’re very excited about the triumphant return that this Kickstarter represents.
